Well what a day!!!!

Heading out to see Keagan!!!  Riding the luggage cart....of course!!! 

We left the hotel a little later than originally planned because of the ice storm just south of us   Which worked out amazing because the roads were clear and we were able to safely finish the journey to San Antoinio.  We were even still on schedule to get there by 5 when Keag was able to go with us and eat.    We were planning steak, Mexican....really didn't matter. We just wanted to see him and spend time together!     Sooooo we got caught in traffic in Austin.  About an hour or more of TRAFFIC!!!  Yikes. Ok that will cut it closer we may have to eat on the go while we take him back to the barracks but we will still be there to see him!!!    Then......San Antonio traffic was atrocious!!!   Finally we break free right about 7 and make it to the main gate....well we were at the wrong gate!  The one Keag is at is across the base we can't make it we have to drive around because we can't get on base without Keagan who is at the other gate!!!!   There is no time  to drive around because Keag had to be checked back in by 8 and since we still weren't sure we would make it and he had a 40 minute walk back to the barracks. We just didn't get to see him.   Everyone was soooo disappointed.  We all were so excited to see him.  So instead of Keagan and a nice dinner. We had McDonalds in the  car;(.   We are bummed. But we are safely here and we didn't have to drive through  the ice storm!  And tomorrow we will see Keagan!!!
