Fun trip today to Louisville! We met with Auntie Ashleigh and Auntie Sara who helped take wonderful care of Kerrigan while she was at His Hands in Taiwan. They were the ones who sent us all the pictures and videos! They painted her piggy toes while she was there! Auntie Ashleigh even took Kerrigan home with her when she was sick and needed extra snuggles! They hold a very special place in our hearts and we were thrilled we got to see them while they were home this summer!! We got to meet some of the other His Hands families too! We met the Berry's, Keane's and Stuckers!
It was great fun to see Simeon. He was just a little bitty guy when we were at His Hands and I got to snuggle him! Boy has he grown! We met at the splash park and let all the kids play! Then went to Keane's house for visiting and pizza! Before we knew it, it was 9pm and we still had a 3 hour drive home! The day went too fast! So comfortable and relaxed! Kerrigan allowed The Aunties to sit next to her, she let Auntie Ashleigh play animals with her and even let them hold her for a picture!!! They said it was funny to see her personality was similar to what it always was.... She is cautious, she likes to watch what is happening and then when she is comfortable she will participate! By the time we left she was sitting on Lena's Moms lap and sassily saying NO and grinning when Auntie Sara asked if she could hold her!! Ha! She is a tease!!! We had a wonderful day!!!
