Christmas Eve Blessings..........

Merry Christmas Eve
Kerrigan's 1st Christmas Eve
and
Ava's First as a BIG Sister!

Christmas Eve....Kerrigan's first Christmas Eve!

Wonderful day!  We went to Grandma and Grandpa Bogards!  So much fun and way to much food!  We had our traditional Mexican food. We started this probably 10 years ago!  We always make Mexican for Christmas dinner!  Feliz Navidad!

Aunt Sue and Travis came, Kerrigan was scared to death of Aunt Sue every time Aunt Sue would get close to her she would pout out her bottom lip and cry!  She finally let Aunt Sue sit close to her and share her ice cream but she still wasn't letting her touch her!

Aunt Sue you can share your ice cream with me, but don't come any closer!

Grandma pretended to put chocolate in Dayne's hair.....she didn't know the lid was open so she REALLY did put chocolate in his HAIR!!!!!!!!
Aunt Sue trying to console poor chocolate haired Dayne:)

Watching all the craziness!

This was Kerrigan's first gift opening experience.  She was pretty happy with just having the bow off of Ava's gift!;)

Passing out the gifts!

Getting to know Aunt Tami!

Trying out Aunt Tami's toys:)

Chillin' watching TV with Grandpa

Wonderful time was had by all!    Girls were asleep before we were out of the driveway I think!!!

Tonight everyone that was above age 1 made a gingerbread house!  Poor Kerrigan was already asleep!  Not sure how much help she would have been anyway!;).  But Ava, Dayne, Keagan and Megan......along with Momma and Dada of course made an awesome gingerbread house!  We got some pics right before the roof slid off and then we ate it!  Fun times!  We listened to Christmas music!
Making the house!!

Eating the house!! YUMMY!!!

Then got the cookies and chocolate milk ready for
Santa!  Took the carrots outside for the reindeer and also spread their magic reindeer dust so they will be sure to find our house!  Wrote Santa a letter.

Finished up by reading Night before Christmas!

Reading the night before Christmas!

Ava was pretty  wound up but she had a busy busy day and went to
Sleep even though she said she wasn't tired and would wait up on Santa;).

And tomorrow is Christmas and we are under a blizzard watch.  Wowsa. Never seen that before!  Bring on the snow;).
